As we reported on Tuesday Sagets, the local lift pass company for Les Gets /Morzine were offering Valentine's day meals in the bubbles that go up Mont Chery.

Valentine's dinner in Les Gets
Some of our guest's may been in for a Valentine's dinner with a difference tonight as they have a romantic dinner in the Mont Chery bubble on Valentine’s day.
The cabins, decorated to provide a warm, romantic atmosphere, one course will be served each time they pass through the lift station. It will be a new and original way to celebrate this romantic occasion with the added bonus of a stunning night view over the village.
For those going up the mountain tonights menu is as follows.
Starter : Feuillantine of Corsican figatelli with figs and myrtle cream, served with wild nettle panacotta, peanuts and spices.
Main Course : Filet of Grouper with Indian spices or Filet of Ostrich served with a creamy brandy and cèpes sauce, accompanied with a marmalade of apple and courgettes, Darphin potatoes and roasted tomatoes.
Dessert: Chocolate and honey fondant served with a rose scented coulis and mini toffee apple.
As usual the restaurant in the Hotel Christiania will be open for those in resort with Children or who just cannot be bothered with the whole commercialised day!
