We know that many young families are put of skiing by the thought of what to do with their children while they are skiing.

Easter offers

Easter is earlier this year over the weekend 7/8 April and at the hotel Christiania we currently have space for both the 1st & 2nd week in April. We are always amazed that guests are so concerned about snow at this time of year. Les Gets snow record is excellent with ski runs open to the village until mid April each year. This season the snow cover will be amazing !


For those of you still unconvinced we are offering a REFUND GUARANTEE should you be unable to ski back into the village until lifts close on the 15th April.

8th - 15th April - The second week of Easter

Flights are still readily available to Geneva from many UK airports over that time period and we can be flexible on your length of stay ( minimum 4 nights )

Adults will pay only 85 euros per person per night and Children only 85 euros in total.

Example Family of 4 : 5 nights – only 1020 euros

7 nights – only 1360 euros

Return Transfers from Geneva in this week – 60 euros per person.

The Indian Village - Les Gets

If you are coming to the Hotel Christiania in Les Gets with young children then you should take them to the Indian Village, which is located at the top of the Chavannes express lift.

Located close to a nursery area this fun ski area represents good place for young children to have some fun while learning to ski.

Children and the Hotel Christiania

The Hotel Christiania is ideal for a family holiday with many extra facilities catering for children both within the hotel and out in the resort of Les Gets itself. We believe that the hotel is one of the most family friendly hotels in Portes du Soleil.

Children's Discounts:
The Hotel Christiania offers a wide range of family bedrooms with many providing interconnecting doors, extra pull out beds and bunk beds. These offer a variety of discounts depending on room type and the child's age. For further details please look at our Room Prices page or contact our reservations department for a tailored quote.

Children's Playroom:
We know how important it is for children to be kept occupied. The hotel's kid's playroom caters for all age groups and craft materials, books, paints, board games, video games and movies are all available. The playroom is located off the lounge / bar area so you will never be too far to check on the progress of that noisy game of snakes and ladders or the suspicious silence that occurs when the latest movie is played.

Children's Meals:
A high tea is served at 1800 hours for children aged 11 and under. We aim to provide a well balanced meal to suit children's tastes.

Village Facilities:
The village of Les Gets is very well equipped for children of all ages. A few of the attractions include an adventure park and children's swimming lake in the summer and an out door skating rink and children's beginner ski park are very popular in winter. A children's train circuits the village all day long picking up and dropping off both children and adults from one side of the village to the other.

Hotel Christiania Crèche


The Hotel Christiania will again be offering a nanny service for ski season 2011/2012 for children aged between 4 months and 2 years.

The nanny service will again operate on a strict ratio of 1 nanny per 2 infants aged 4 months to 12 month or one nanny per 3 infants aged 13 months to 2 years and the hotel's fully qualified nanny will look after the children from 9am through to 5pm when the adults return from skiing in the afternoon.

During the day they have creative play with toys, building blocks as well as the nanny reading books and singing songs to your child. They will also be taken out in their buggies through the village for fresh air and play in the snow when the weather is good.

On your arrival at the Christiania she will spend time with parents and guardians to go over dietary requirements and routines to ensure that the children will be well looked after when the adults are skiing.

Full days are from 9am to 5pm and include lunch with half days being either 9am to 12.30 or 13.30 to 17.00.
